School Food Drive -
Buffalo Ridge Elementary

Buffalo Ridge Elementary was our first School Food Drive in 2022 and the concept proved to be a game changer for Bin Blessed!! We now sponsor School Food Drives in three counties and have collected thousands of in-kind items for There With Care families. To celebrate our first school, Paula Dupres Pesmen, Founder of There With Care helped present to BRE’s National Honor Society that coordinated the event. The National Honor Society members along with Bin Babes Dee, Michaele Anne, and Lynn delivered green Bin Blessed bins to each classroom and explained the details of the Drive to the students. We completed our two-week Food Drive and Mrs. Byrd’s First Grade class won our Root Beer Float party!! The Power of Kids Helping Kids, this year’s drive brought in 1,049 items!! (187 MORE items than their first drive). Saving the best news for last, they have asked if we would sponsor a drive every year for them. Super FUN!!!

Thanks to Cherry Creek Presbyterian MomCo we are currently sponsoring a two week Diaper Drive at their Preschool.

Keller Williams RedDay 24

Bin Babe, Kathy Welhaf competed in her office for a chance to win the charity bid for RedDay 24 for Keller Williams in Castle Rock. She won the bid for Bin Blessed!! Thanks to her efforts, 100 real estate agents and their clients will be participating in a Food Drive collecting the Top 5 most requested items for There With Care. This will be our first Corporate Food Drive which adds another spoke to the wheel in how Bin Blessed supports There With Care. Bin collections, Community Food Drives, MomCo partnership, Monthly bag events and now Corporate events.

100 Women Who Care,
Douglas County Chapter

Bin Blessed will be bidding for the chosen charity for the 100 Women Who Care organization. 100 Women meet 4 times a year and they sponsor one charity to support with a substantial financial donation. Last year, they raised $12,000 earmarked specifically for Douglas County’s Backpack Society. We will be generally highlighting some of the Douglas County families and how financial support could be utilized to ease some of their burdens. Wish us Luck!!
